😎 Ray Ban UV Shades @ Plaza Sing 🕶️🌟



☀️BRIEF IN BRIEF 


Ray Ban was launching their first color-changing frame, Ray-Ban Change, at Plaza Singapura, I was   invited to design an upsized acrylic Wayfarer using UV markers and have your design change under UV lights.

📸 THE IDEA


What if we used the UV transitions as a metaphor for changing identities? The piece ‘morphoses’ aims to capture the feelings of third culture culture kids specifically my experience of being from the south Asian diaspora having to swap between identities.


Here are some mockups I designed using some of the draft illustrations I made.
I usedprocreate for the illustrations and adobe illustrator + firefly for the mockups.

I got to be part of the ray ban display at their popup at the mall, I had a section featuring my artwork and some art supplies for bystanders to try their hand sketching their interpretation of my design.
