Bai Bai Buddies
How might we reintroduce the concept of bailan ( Mandarin for ‘to rot’) originally a negative connotation - as a positive concept to Singaporean Zillennials undergoing existential crises in the early stages of work? Through a systematic rethinking of service design and satirical mascots as a medium to convey deeper societal messages, this project investigates how to recharge and ultimately how this generation of people can redefine meanings of wellbeing in their own terms.
This project was done in partneship with my classmate Xu Yinuo.
